Fly colony (experimental)

Several flies, each driven by its own copy of the demo circuit in one GPU network. The readout and the brain view follow fly 1. Back to the single fly.

Every brain here is the same small demo circuit (564 neurons), not a full connectome per fly. This page is for the multi-fly mechanics - shared world, flies as obstacles to each other - and will change once the single-fly model is refined.

Each fly gets its own copy of the circuit inside one network, so eight brains cost about what one costs. They see each other as looming objects and swerve apart.

Brain view

The outline is the MaleCNS template brain. In MaleCNS style the brain is packed with context cells, drawn the way the FlyEM renders are; they are scenery, not simulated. The circuit's own cells are drawn over them and flash when they spike. Circuit style shows only the simulated cells inside a glass outline. Drag on the brain half to orbit it.
